<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Forgive others, and I will forgive you".

He promises me:
  "And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against any; that your Father who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses!. (Mark 11:25)

My response to the word:
  When Jesus taught His disciples to pray (the Lord's Prayer), He showed them the importance of forgiveness: "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors". For my Father in heaven to forgive me as I forgive others is a sobering thought. It stresses the importance of forgiving others. I will walk in God's love and forgiveness throughout this day.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for forgiving me of all my sins. Help me to forgive others in the same way you have forgiven me.

Today's scriptures:
 "Forgive us as we forgive others". (Matt. 6:12 GW) "Through the blood of His Son, we are set free from our sins. God forgives our failures because of His overflowing kindness". (Eph. 1:7 GW) "God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of His Son, whom He loves. His Son has paid the price to free us, which means that our sins are forgiven". (Col. 1:13,14 GW)

Quote for today:
Two things you cannot do alone - marry and be a Christian. (Paul Tournier)
