Today God says:
"You are My child".
He promises me:
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to those who believed on His name". (John 1:12)
My response to the word:
I am God's child because I have received Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour and Lord. I believe on His wonderful name. It thrills me to know that Almighty God is my Father. His promises are like life preservers. They keep my soul from sinking in the sea of trouble and confusion.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for adopting me into your family. It is such an honour for me to be your child. With your help, I will be your obedient child throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. If we are God's children, we are also God's heirs". (Rom. 8:16,17 GW) "You are all God's children by believing in Christ Jesus". (Gal. 3:26 GW) "The Father has given us His love. He loves us so much that we are actually called God's dear children".
