Today God says:
"Whatever you do will prosper".
He promises me:
"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper". (Ps. 1:3)
My response to the word:
I will delight in the Word of God throughout this day. This will make my time fruitful and it will assure prosperity in my life. I will not walk in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the way of sinners. Instead, I will meditate upon God's precious Word throughout this day.
My prayer:
Father, thank you for your Word. I love its practical truths which guide my life. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I will adhere to your Word today, and I know you will make my way prosperous. Fill me with your Spirit so that I will produce the fruit of your Spirit in all my relationships and responsibilities. I will give your Word first place in my life today.
Today's scriptures:
"Faithfully obey the terms of this promise. Then you will be successful in everything you do". (Deut. 29:9 GW) "May those who love you prosper". (Ps. 122:6 GW) "Dear friend, I know that you are spiritually well. I pray that you're doing well in every other way and that you're healthy". (3 John 2 GW)
Quote for today:
One on God's side is a majority, (Wendell Phillips)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
