<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "You shall not be moved".

He promises me:
  "I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved". (Ps. 16:8)

My response to the word:
  I will keep focused on the Lord throughout this day. I will see Him at my right hand. I will keep looking unto Jesus who is "the author and finisher of our faith" as I lay aside every weight, and all besetting sins. I will run with patience the race that is set before me.

My prayer:
  Lord, your keeping power is always at work in my life as I keep my mind stayed upon you. You are the Author and Finisher of my faith and I will keep focused on you as I go about my daily duties.

Today's scriptures:
 "He alone is my rock and my Saviour - my stronghold. I cannot be shaken". (Ps. 62:6 GW) "He will not let you fall. Your guardian will not fall asleep". (Ps. 121:3 GW) "Since we are surrounded by so many examples of faith, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up". (Heb. 12:1,2 GW)

Quote for today:
The untended garden will soon be overrun with weeds: the heart that fails to cultivate truth and root out error will shortly be a theological wilderness. (A W Tozer)
