Today God says:
"I know all your needs".
He promises me:
"Your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him". (Matt. 6:8)
My response to the word:
I know that my heavenly Father knows everything about me. He knows what I need, and He promises to meet my needs. The Word of God says, "My God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus".
My prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for your amazing love that always seeks to meet my needs. I pray in faith, realizing that you are able to do all things and that all the promises of your Word are true, and are for me.
Today's scriptures:
"My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus". (Phil. 4:19 GW) "So we can go confidently to the throne of God's kindness to receive mercy and find kindness, which will help us at the right time". (Heb. 4:16 GW) "You need endurance so that after you have done what God wants you to do, you can receive what He has promised". (Heb. 10:36 GW)
Quote for today:
God meets us at the point of our weaknesses. (Edna Harrison-Harlin)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".

On 7th January 1832, Thomas Dewitt Talmadge was born at Bound Brook, New Jersey. A one-time chaplain in the Union Army, he was converted at age 18 and in 1869, he was installed as pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn, New York. It was a small church, which met in a large building; but within three months that was too small for the attendance. Jealousy caused rumours about him to spread, and the newspapers picked up the story. Sunday mornings, reporters from the large newspapers in the area gathered in expectation that Dr. Talmage would answer the slander -- which would have made headlines. Talmage never said a word in reply. Failing to get the sensational news story, they took down his sermon and they printed it word-for-word in the newspapers. Thus the Lord turned the falsehoods and persecution into a promotion for the Gospel. His Bible-centered sermons were read by 25,000,000 people around the world. His church burned down three times.
