Today God says:
"Keep My commandments, and I will answer your prayers".
He promises me:
"And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight". (1 John 3:22)
My response to the word:
God promises to answer my prayers when I walk in obedience to His Word. He wants me to do those things that please Him. His commandment is that I should believe the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love others. I commit myself to walking in obedience to His will throughout this day.
My prayer:
Father, thank you for promising to answer my prayers when I walk in obedience to you and your Word. With your help, I will obey you at all times.
Today's scriptures:
"Obey me and I will be your God, and you will be My people. Live the way I told you to live so that things will go well for you". (Jer. 7:23 GW) "We will obey the Lord our God to whom we are sending you, whether it's good or bad. Yes, we will obey the Lord our God so that everything will go well for us". (Jer. 42:6 GW) "We are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him". (Acts. 5:32 GW)
Quote for today:
Prayer is the acid test of devotion. (Samuel Chadwick)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
