Today God says:
"Pray in the name of Jesus, and your joy will be full".
He promises me:
"Hitherto, have you asked nothing in My name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full". (John 16:24)
My response to the word:
Jesus invites us to pray in His name - a key to answered prayer. When I ask the Father for my needs to be met in the name of Jesus, I will receive His answers, and my joy will be full. Nehemiah said, "The joy of the Lord is your strength". In Jesus' name I receive this promise of answered prayer and fullness of joy.
My prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for promising to answer me when I pray in Jesus' name. This promise gives me joy, answered prayer gives me joy, and knowing you gives me joy.

(John 14:13 GW) "May God, the source of hope, fill you with joy and peace through your faith in Him. Then you will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit". On 11th August 1876, Wilfred Barbrooke Grubb was born in Ferryhill, Edinburgh.He joined the South American Missionary Society at 19 years of age and went to Paraguay. He worked among the Chaco Indians and he was so respected that the Government appointed him Commissioner for the area. His method was to befriend several nomadic families and teach them to build homes, with educational, medical and evangelistic work. His book about the Lengua Indians was titled, Unknown People in an Unknown Land. He translated much of the New Testament into their language. He died in 1930 at the age of 65 years.
On 11th October 1914, Kenneth R. Adams was born. In 1941 Adams founded Christian Literature Crusade in Colchester, England, which pioneered production and distribution of missionary publications and is now active throughout the world.
