Today God says:
"I will give you sufficiency in all things".
He promises me:
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work". (2 Cor. 9:8)
My response to the word:
God's grace is sufficient for me. Sufficiency involves the complete satisfaction of a need, and through God's grace I am able to experience sufficiency in all things so that I will abound in every good work. It is God's grace that keeps me, sanctifies me, saves me, and meets my need. I will walk in God's all-sufficient grace throughout this day.
My prayer:
Lord, thank you for your grace which is at work in my life continually. Through your grace I will learn how to abound in every good work.
Today's scriptures:
"I don't call you servants anymore, because a servant doesn't know what his master is doing. But I've called you friends because I've made known to you everything that I've heard from my Father". (John 15:15 GW) "By ourselves we are not qualified in any way to claim that we can do anything. Rather, God makes us qualified". (2 Cor. 3:5 GW) "My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak". (2 Cor. 12:9 GW)
Quote for today:
It is more productive to give than to receive, for what we receive is not multiplied - only what we give. (Unknown)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
