<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Nothing will ever separate you from My love, which is in Christ Jesus".

He promises me:
  "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". (Rom. 8:38,39)

My response to the word:
  The love of God is deeper than the deepest ocean, and higher than the highest mountain. It is the greatest thing in the universe. He revealed His love to me through His Son, Jesus Christ, who expressed love wherever He went. I find God's love in Him, and I know that nothing shall ever be able to separate me from His love. That is a wonderful truth.

My prayer:
  Lord God, thank you for the assurance that I will never be separated from your love. I will walk in your love throughout this day.

Today's scriptures:
 "God loved the world this way: He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not die but will have eternal life". (John 3:16 GW) "I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live I live by believing in God's Son who loved me and took the punishment for my sins". (Gal. 2:20 GW) "But God is rich in mercy because of His great love for us". (Eph. 2:4 GW)

Quote for today:
Love is the best thing in the world, and the thing that lives longest. (Henry van Dyke)

On this day:
On 2nd November 1917, British foreign secretary Arthur J. Balfour, 69, issued the Balfour Declaration, calling for "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people." The document's recognition of Jewish nationalism planted the seed which in 1948 led to an establishment of the modern state of Israel.
