<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "My Word will never return unto Me void".

He promises me:
  "So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the things to which I sent it". (Isa. 55:11)

My response to the word:
  God's Word is so powerful that it has to accomplish its purposes in my life. I will let it have full sway in my heart and soul so that I can receive all its blessings. I believe, "every Word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him". I also know this truth, "For ever, O Lord, your Word is settled in heaven".

My prayer:
  Lord, let your Word do its dynamic work in my life. I believe your Word, and I know it will accomplish your eternal purposes.

Today's scriptures:
 "O Lord, your Word is established in heaven forever". (Ps. 119:89 GW) "Every word of God has proven to be true. He is a shield to those who come to Him for protection". (Prov. 30:5 GW) "You have been born again, not from a seed that can be destroyed, but through God's everlasting Word that can't be destroyed". (1 Peter 1:23 GW)

Quote for today:
Life is not a diamond, but a seed, with possibilities of endless growth. (J R Miller)

On this day:
On 25th November 1742, The Scottish Society for the Propagating of Christian Knowledge approved David Brainerd as a missionary to the New England Indians. He served until 1746 when ill health prevented him from carrying on. He died in October 1747 at the age of 29 years. His biography became an inspiration to many.
