Today God says:
"I will renew your strength".
He promises me:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint". (Isa 40:31)
My response to the word:
Throughout this day I will wait upon the Lord, because I know that is the key to receiving His strength in my life. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". God is the strength of my life. "He gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might He increases strength". I will walk in God's strength today.
My prayer:
Father, strengthen me according to your Word. Thank you for the strength you give me as I wait upon you.
Today's scriptures:
"He gives strength to those who grow tired, and increases the strength of those who are weary". (Isa 40:29 GW) "My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak". (2 Cor. 12:9 GW) "I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me". (Phil. 4:13 GW)
Quote for today:
Unless a man undertakes more than he possibly can do he will never do all he can do. (Henry Drummond)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".

On 30th November 1888, R. G. LeTourneau was born at Richford, Vermont. The world knows he was famous for the monster earth-movers he designed and built; but believers remember him for his Christian witness, backed up by a life lived wholly for the Lord. After the death of his first-born son, LeTourneau inverted the tithing principle, giving 9/10ths of his income to the Lord's work instead of the usual 1/10th. He was involved in many well-known evangelical projects, promoting the Gospel. He died in Longview, Texas in 1969.
