<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "My peace will keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus".

He promises me:
  "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus". (Phil. 4:6-7)

My response to the word:
  God's peace alleviates all anxiety and worry from my mind and heart. He commands me to stop worrying, to be thankful, and to pray. He promises that if I will take these steps, He will give me His peace - a peace that surpasses understanding. The peace of God will keep my heart and mind throughout this day.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for your promise of peace. I receive it by faith as I surrender all my concerns to you.

Today's scriptures:
 "Try to live peacefully with everyone, and try to live holy lives". (Hebr. 12:14 GW) "The God of peace brought the Great Shepherd of the sheep, our Lord Jesus, back to life through the blood of an eternal promise". (Hebr. 13:20 GW) "Peace to all of you who are in Christ Jesus". (1 Peter 5:14 GW)

Quote for today:
A great many people are trying to make peace, but that has already been done. God has not left it for us to do; all we have to do - is to enter into it. (D L Moody)
