<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I am your stronghold in the day of trouble".

He promises me:
  "The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those that trust in Him". (Nah. 1:7)

My response to the word:
  God is so good to me, and I trust Him with everything I am and have. He is the stronghold I need in times of trouble. He keeps me safe. With God's help, I will be sure to let life's difficulties make me a better person, not into a bitter person. Even if other people are preoccupied with adding up their troubles, I will purpose to count my blessings.

My prayer:
  I know, Lord, that you will always be with me during times of trouble and difficulty; therefore, I will not fear such times. Thank you for being my stronghold.

Today's scriptures:
 "Be a rock on which I may live, a place where I may always go". (Ps. 71:3 GW) "Mighty God, even your faithfulness surrounds you". (Ps. 89:8 GW) "He brought Israel out from among them with a mighty hand and a powerful arm - because His mercy endures forever". (Ps. 136:11,12 GW)

Quote for today:
God is sufficient for all our needs, for every problem, and for every difficulty, for every broken heart, and for every human sorrow. (Peter Marshall)
