<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever".

He promises me:
  "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever". (Heb. 13:8)

My response to the word:
  The fact that Jesus Christ never changes works stability into my own life. This means He has the power to heal, to restore, to redeem, to save, to deliver, and to give victory just as He had when He walked the earth. Luke wrote, "And the whole multitude sought to touch Him, for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all". Jesus is the Great Physician, and He is my healer.

My prayer:
  Loving Lord, thank you for the constancy of Jesus Christ. I receive His power into my life.

Today's scriptures:
 "I, the Lord, never change". (Mal. 3:6 GW) "The entire crowd was trying to touch Him because power was coming from Him and curing all of them". (Luke 6:19 GW) "The Father doesn't change like the shifting shadows produced by the sun and the moon". (James 1:17 GW)

Quote for today:
Man has two great spiritual needs. One is for forgiveness. God answered that at Calvary. The other is for goodness. God answered that at Pentecost. (Billy Graham)

On this day:
On 18th December 1904, Indian mystic Sundar Singh aged 15, was converted to Christianity through a vision. Baptized into the Church of England in 1905, Singh afterward donned the robe of a Sadhu (holy man) in an endeavor to present Christianity in a Hindu form. He disappeared in April 1929, while undertaking a strenuous work in Tibet.
