<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world".

He promises me:
  "For whoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith". (1 John 5:4)

My response to the word:
  Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. There are a thousand ways to please God, but not one of them works without faith. I want to please the Lord today; therefore, I will walk by faith, not by sight. I will live by faith. I will remember Jesus' words, "According to your faith be it to you".

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for the gift of faith. As I meditate upon your Word today, I will know that my faith will build in my heart. I will walk by faith today.

Today's scriptures:
 He touched their eyes and said, "What you have believed will be done for you". (Matt. 9:29 GW) "God's approval is revealed in this Good News. This approval begins and ends with faith". (Rom. 1:17 GW) "Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight". (2 Cor. 5:7 GW)

Quote for today:
Live each day as though it were our last, but plan as though our world might last a hundred years. (C S Lewis)

On this day:
