Today God says:
"Not one word of My promises ever failed".
He promises me:
"Blessed be the Lord, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised: there has not failed one word of all His good promises, which He promised by the hand of Moses His servant". (1 Kings 8:56)
My response to the word:
God's good promises never fail. In fact, there is only one thing God cannot do, and that is fail. He is my faithful Father, and He promises to fulfil His Word in my life. "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord". He promises, "My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips".
My prayer:
Lord God, thank you for your great faithfulness in my life. I take my stand upon your promises, and I will walk in accord with them throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"I will not dishonour my promises or alter my own agreement". (Ps. 89:34 GW) "God faithfully keeps His promises. He called you to be partners with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord". (1 Cor. 1:9 GW) "Through His glory and integrity He has given us His promises that are of the highest value. On 30th December 1928, Paul Little was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. He worked as an evangelist with Inter-Varsity and the Billy Graham Organisation. He died in a traffic accident aged 46 years, but his writings live on.
