<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "The day will come when you will have no more pain, tears, death or sorrow".

He promises me:
  "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away". (Rev. 21:4)

My response to the word:
  In the heavenly kingdom, where I will live with God and my fellow-believers throughout eternity, there will be no more crying, pain, sorrow or death. What a place that will be! Throughout this day I will remember that God has two dwelling places - one in heaven, and the other in a meek and thankful heart.

My prayer:
  Father, thank you for the promise of living with you forever in the kingdom of heaven. I greatly look forward to that blessed time of everlasting joy and peace in your presence.

Today's scriptures:
 "Through Christ, God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing that heaven has to offer". (Eph. 1:3 GW) "God has brought us back to life together with Christ Jesus and has given us a position in heaven with Him". (Eph. 2:6 GW) "The Lord will rescue me from all harm and will take me safely to His heavenly kingdom". (2 Tim. 4:18 GW)

Quote for today:
Christ has turned all our sunsets into dawns. (Clement of Alexandria)
