Today God says:
"What I have spoken, I will bring to pass".
He promises me:
"My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure …. I have spoken it: I will also bring it to pass: I have purposed it, I will also do it". (Isa. 46:10,11)
My response to the word:
God has plans and purposes for my life. He will be sure that His plans and purposes are accomplished. He always fulfils His promises to me. Throughout this day, therefore, I will remember these words, "Faithful is He that called you, who also will do it".
My prayer:
Lord, I am so grateful for your faithfulness in my life. I believe every promise of your Word, because I know you will bring to pass everything that you have spoken.

On 14th December 1836, Frances Ridley Havergal, English devotional writer, was born in Astley, Worcestershire. In frail health most of her life, Miss Havergal was nevertheless a fruitful writer, and authored over 50 hymns including "Take My Life and Let It Be," "Who is on the Lord's Side?" and "I Gave My Life for Thee." Havergal died of peritonitis near Caswell Bay on the Gower Peninsula in Wales at 42 years of age.
