Today God says:
"My way is perfect".
He promises me:
"As for God, His way is perfect: the Word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in him". (Ps. 18:30)
My response to the word:
God's way is perfect, and so is His timing. His Word is infallible. Because of these facts of my faith, I know that He will be my shield that deflects all fiery darts of evil. Paul wrote, "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked".
My prayer:
Lord, I know you are perfect, your Word is perfect, your will is perfect, and your way is perfect. I submit my life to you.

On 15th December 1843, Albert Simpson was born in Bayview, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Known best as A B Simpson, he was Pastor of churches in Canada and New York and later founded the Christian & Missionary Alliance. Plagued by illness for much of his life since childhood, Simpson experienced divine healing after understanding it to be part of the blessing of abiding in Christ as Life and healing. He authored many books, most of which remain in print, and also the words of some 120 hymns.
