Today God says:
"My glory is upon you".
He promises me:
"Arise, shine: for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you". (Isa. 60:1)
My response to the word:
As I arise with joy today, I realize that the light of the Lord is shining upon me. I will walk in the sunlight of His love throughout this day, and I will walk in the glory of God which has risen upon me. His cloud of glory is the very atmosphere of my life. In Him I live and move and have my being.
My prayer:
Thank you for your glory, Father, which fills my soul and surrounds me as I go about my daily activities. I want to take your glory wherever I go so that others will be drawn to you.
Today's scriptures:
"Certainly, we live, move, and exist because of Him". (Acts 17:28 GW) "Glory belongs to God in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time and eternity". (Eph. 3:21 GW) "God wanted His people throughout the world to know the glorious riches of this mystery - which is Christ living in you, giving you the hope of glory". (Col. 1:27 GW)
Quote for today:
The Holy Spirit has not been poured out on you or me to prove how great we are, but to prove the greatness of the Son of God. (Watchman Nee)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
