<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I will satisfy your longing soul".

He promises me:
  "Oh that men would praise the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness". (Ps. 107:8,9)

My response to the word:
  God has performed a multitude of wonderful works in my life. I thank Him and praise Him for all He has done, and I worship Him for who He is in my life. He truly has satisfied my longing soul and He has filled my hungry soul with goodness. Throughout this day, therefore, I will praise my Lord. I will worship and adore Him for He is so good to me.

My prayer:
  Thank you, Lord, for satisfying my longing soul and for satisfying my spiritual hunger and thirst. You are my life - you are my everything.

Today's scriptures:
 "I will satisfy you with a long life. I will show you how I will save you". (Ps. 91:16 GW) "I will certainly bless all that Zion needs. I will satisfy its needy people with food". (Ps. 132:15 GW) "The Lord will continually guide you and satisfy you even in sun-baked places". (Isa. 58:11 GW)

Quote for today:
Self-love must be uprooted and the love of God take its place before we can see ourselves as we are. (Francois Fenelon)
