<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I am your salvation".

He promises me:
  "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation". (Isa. 12:2)

My response to the word:
  God is my salvation. I will trust Him and not be afraid. He is my strength and my song. Realizing these marvellous facts, I will trust in the Lord with all my heart. I will stop leaning on my own understanding. Instead, I will lean upon Him. In all my ways I will acknowledge Him, and I know He will direct my paths.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for saving me when I came to you through faith. By grace through faith you saved me. Thank you for such a wonderful gift.

Today's scriptures:
 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths smooth". (Prov. 3:5,6 GW) "But I will sacrifice to you with songs of thanksgiving. I will keep my vows. Victory belongs to the Lord". (Jonah 2:9 GW) "No one else can save us. Indeed, we can be saved only by the power of the One named Jesus and not by any other person". (Acts 4:12 GW)

Quote for today:
How often we look upon God as our last resort because we have nowhere else to go, and then we learn that the storms of life have driven us, not upon the rocks, but into the desired haven. (George MacDonald)
