Today God says:
"It is My good pleasure to give you the Kingdom".
He promises me:
"Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom". (Luke 12:32)
My response to the word:
The Kingdom of God exists wherever God rules and reigns. I am a part of His kingdom because He is my Lord. I have been born into His kingdom by His Spirit through the new birth. Paul wrote that God has "delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son".
My prayer:
Lord, thank you for delivering me out of the power of darkness and bringing me into your Kingdom where I now partake of the inheritance of the saints in light.
Today's scriptures:
"No one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above". (John 3:3 GW) "God loved the world this way: He gave His only Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not die but have eternal life". (John 3:16 GW) "God has rescued us from the power of darkness and has brought us into the kingdom of His Son, whom He loves". (Col. 1:13 GW)
Quote for today:
Faith is like a shield because it is of no use except it be well handled. (Charles Spurgeon)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
