Today God says:
"Nothing will ever separate you from My love".
He promises me:
"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord". (Rom. 8:38,39)
My response to the word:
Nothing in the past, present, or future can separate me from the wonderful love of God which I found through Christ Jesus. His love is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. God's love is a fabric that never fades, no matter how often it is washed in the waters of adversity and grief. I will walk in the sunshine of God's love throughout this day.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your everlasting love. It is stronger than any foe. It is the most excellent way of life. I cherish your love, and I love you with all my heart.
Today's scriptures:
"We're not ashamed to have this confidence, because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us". (Rom. 5:5 GW) "Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God's love for us". (Rom. 5:8 GW) "Love is patient. Love is kind. Love isn't jealous. It doesn't sing its own praises. It isn't arrogant. It isn't rude. It doesn't think about itself. It isn't irritable". (1 Cor. 13:4,5 GW)
Quote for today:
Love is as sure in the night of darkness as in the brightness of the day of joy. (Charles Spurgeon)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
