Today God says:
"Let My peace rule in your heart".
He promises me:
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were called in one body; and be thankful". (Col. 3:15)
My response to the word:
I will let God's peace rule in my heart throughout this day. Peace of heart and peace of mind are precious treasures, and I will let nothing disturb my peace. Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you: not as the world gives, I give you. Let not your hearts be troubled, nor afraid".
My prayer:
Lord, I treasure the peace you have imparted to me. The world can't give me peace, and it can't take it away from me. My heart is truly thankful for your peace, and I will walk in your peace throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"With perfect peace you will protect those whose minds cannot be changed, because they trust you". (Isa. 26:3 GW) "I'm leaving you peace. I'm giving you My peace". (John 14:27 GW) "So He is our peace. In His body He has made Jewish and non-Jewish people one by breaking down the wall of hostility that kept them apart". (Eph. 2:14 GW)
Quote for today:
God incarnate is the end of fear, and the heart that realizes the He is in the midst will be quiet in the middle of alarm. (F B Meyer)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
