Today God says:
 "I am able to do all things".

He promises me:
  "Now to Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us". (Eph. 3:20)

My response to the word:
  God has absolutely no limitations. With Him, all things are possible. The only thing He can't do is fail. In fact, He is able to do "exceedingly abundantly above all" that I can ask or think. Therefore, I will not hesitate to ask my heavenly Father to meet my needs. He wants to do so, and He will do so in ways that go beyond my level of anticipation.

My prayer:
  Almighty God, you are able to do all things. You are my miracle-working Father. I ask you now for the following ………………………………………………………………………………………………………

On this day:
On 7th February 1832, Hannah Whitall Smith was born in New Jersey into a Quaker family. Following her marriage, she and her husband were converted under Brethren influence. She was a lay speaker and author in the Holiness movement in the United States and the Higher Life movement in the United Kingdom. She is best known for her book "The Christian's Secret of a Happy Life" She died in London in 1911.
