<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "In all your ways acknowledge Me, and I will direct your paths.

He promises me:
  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths". (Prov. 3:5-6)

My response to the word:
  I resolve to trust God with all my heart. Throughout this day, therefore, I will not lean upon my own understanding. Rather, I will acknowledge the Lord at all times, and in so doing, I know that He will direct my paths. I have surrendered my life to God and I trust Him to love me and to guide me.

My prayer:
  Loving Lord, thank you for your promise to direct my paths. I know you are leading me, and where you lead me I will follow.

Today's scriptures:
 "He leads humble people to do what is right, and He teaches them His way". (Ps. 25:9 GW) "The Lord says, 'I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as my eyes watch over you". (Ps. 32:8 GW) "This God is our God forever and ever. He will lead us beyond death". (Ps. 48:14 GW)

Quote for today:
When life becomes all snarled up, offer it to our Lord and let Him untie the knots. (Book of Days for Christians)
