<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Jesus is the resurrection and the life".

He promises me:
  "Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life: He that believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die". (John 11:25,26)

My response to the word:
  I believe that Jesus is the resurrection and the life. Because He lived, died, was buried, rose again, and ascended into heaven, I know that I will not perish. My life will go on forever with Him in heaven. Faith is the key to this victory over death, as it is the key to victory in every area of life. I believe that I have eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for the power of your resurrection that imparts eternal life to me. I believe in you with all my heart, and I thank you that I will never perish.

Today's scriptures:
 "Faith knows the power that His coming back to life gives and what it means to share His suffering. In this way I'm becoming like Him in His death". (Phil. 3:10 GW) "God has given us a new birth because of His great mercy. We have been born into a new life that has a confidence which is alive because Jesus Christ has come back to life". (1 Peter 1:3 GW)

Quote for today:
Our Lord has written the promise of the resurrection not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime. (Martin Luther)

On this day:
