<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Call upon Me in times of trouble, and I will deliver you".

He promises me:
  "Offer unto God thanksgiving: and pay your vows to the most High: And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me". (Ps. 50:14,15)

My response to the word:
  I am completely thankful to the Lord, my God. In times of trouble, I will turn to Him, and I know He will deliver me. The results will bring glory to Him. Wonderful things happen to me when I pray with confidence. The Bible says, "And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us: and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire of Him".

My prayer:
  Father, thank you for the multitude of prayer promises in your Word. I will turn to you as my first resort in times of trouble.

Today's scriptures:
 "When you were in trouble, you called to Me, and I rescued you". (Ps. 81:7 GW) "In their distress they cried out to the Lord. He rescued them from their troubles". (Ps. 107:6 GW) "You saved me from death. You saved my eyes from tears and my feet from stumbling". (Ps.116:8 GW)

Quote for today:
A sign on a Church notice board in Los Angeles read, "When your knees knock - kneel on them".
