Today God says:
"Love never fails".
He promises me:
"Love never fails: but where there are prophecies, they shall fail; where there are tongues, they shall cease; where there is knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part, but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away". (1 Cor. 13:8-10)
My response to the word:
I love 1 Corinthians chapter 13 - the love chapter, because it reminds me of the supremacy of love in all my relationships. First of all, in my relationship with God. I am able to love only because He first loved me. Then, my relationships with others. I will walk in God's Spirit today because I know "the fruit of the Spirit is love".
My prayer:
Lord, I love you because you first loved me. I know that your love will never fail. I will walk in your love throughout this day. Thank you for loving me.

Read 1 Corinthians 13. "Live in love as Christ also loved us. He gave His life for us an offering and sacrifice, a soothing aroma to God". (Eph. 5:2 GW) "We love because God loved us first". (1 John 4:19 GW)

On 1st March 1981, Dr Martyn Lloyd-Jones died in Ealing, London aged 81 years. For 30 years he served as Pastor of Westminster Chapel in London, and was famous as a Bible teacher. His commentaries on Romans and Ephesians are legendary. He retired as Pastor in 1968. Many of his books are still available.
