Today God says:
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper".
He promises me:
"No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of Me, says the Lord". (Isa. 54:17)
My response to the word:
God is my sure defence. He is protecting me from all evil. I know that no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against me in judgment will be condemned by my Father in heaven. This is my inheritance as a servant of the Lord. He has imparted His righteousness to me. Praise His holy name.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for assuring me over and over again in your Word that you will protect me from the evil one, from evil people, and from evil in every form. I receive your promise, believe it, and I walk in complete confidence in you.

On 15th March 2003, Dame Thora Hird died in Twickenham age 91 years. She was well known as a comedy actress, television personality and writer. Born in North England, her chapel Christianity could come over comfy, although her relationship with "me pal oopstairs" clearly sustained her as the eventide fell.
