<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "At My right hand are pleasures for evermore".

He promises me:
  "You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore". (Ps. 16:11)

My response to the word:
  How I delight in the presence of God. As I experience His presence through worship and the Word I am filled with joy. How wonderful it is to know that there will be eternal pleasures at His right hand. The place to be happy is here, the time to be happy is now, the way to be happy is to love God and others. I will walk in God's joy and happiness throughout this day as I practice His wonderful presence.

My prayer:
  Thank you, Father, for giving me joy. I believe your promise that I will have pleasures for evermore in your presence. I will let joy, happiness, and pleasures fill the pathway of my life.

Today's scriptures:
 "They are refreshed with the rich foods in your house, and you make them drink from the river of your pleasure". (Ps. 36:8 GW) "I will find joy in the Lord. I will delight in my God". (Isa. 61:10 GW) "Although you have never seen Christ, you love Him. You don't see Him now, but you believe in Him. You are extremely happy with joy and praise that can hardly be expressed in words as you obtain the salvation that is the goal of your faith". (1 Peter 1:8,9 GW)

Quote for today:
Any man can again have the joy of his first meeting with God if he will go back over the same road. (Roy Smith)

On this day:
On 17th March 1734, forty-two families of German Protestant refugees landed in the American colonies. Sponsored by the British Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge (SPCK), the 78 religious pilgrims soon founded the town of Ebenezer, 30 miles from Savannah, Georgia.
