<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Perfect love casts out fear".

He promises me:
  "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love". (1 John 4:18)

My response to the word:
  God's love is the perfect antidote for fear. The comfort and security of His love casts all fear out of my life. I have known the torment of fear, but now I know the sweet peace of God's love. I will fear neither this day nor tomorrow, because I know God is already there. In fact, He goes ahead of me, and His spectacular love covers me.

My prayer:
  Lord God, I receive the fullness of your perfect love which cast all the fears out of my life. I will walk in your love, knowing that I will never have to fear again. You are my great God and Saviour, and I praise your holy name.

Today's scriptures:
 "Your mercy is so precious, O Lord, that Adam's descendents take refuge in the shadow of your wings". (Ps. 36:7 GW) "Accept my encouragement. Share the same attitude and live in peace. The God of love and peace will be with you". (2 Cor. 13:11 GW) "This is love: not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the payment for our sins". (1 John 4:10 GW)

Quote for today:
The voice of God is a friendly voice. No one need fear to listen to it unless he has already made up his mind to resist it. (A W Tozer)
