<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I will give you good success".

He promises me:
  "This Book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success". (Josh 1:8)

My response to the word:
  The book of the Law, for believers today, is the Bible - the most precious book of all. I will meditate upon God's Word throughout this day, because this is the key to learning God's will and it is the key to walking in obedience to the Word. God promises me that if I will do these things, He will make my way prosperous and He will give me good success. My Father in heaven wants me to be successful at all times.

My prayer:
  Heavenly Father, thank you for your Word which is filled with so many promises of good things from your hands. I believe your Word and I claim your promises that you will give me good success.

Today's scriptures:
 "He is like a tree planted beside streams - a tree that produces fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither". (Ps. 1:3 GW) "May those who love you prosper. May there be peace inside your walls and prosperity in your palaces". (Ps. 122:6 GW) "Dear friend, I know that you are spiritually well. I pray that you're doing well in every other way and that you're healthy". (3 John 2 GW)

Quote for today:
Promises (of God) exhibit the fullness and all-sufficiency of God. (Charles Spurgeon)

On this day:
On 24th March 1820, Frances "Fanny" J. Crosby was born. Blinded by a quack treatment in infancy, she became a notable hymn writer and evangelist. In fifty years she penned over 2,000 hymns, many of which remain favourites today. Among them are "To God Be the Glory," "Blessed Assurance," "Rescue the Perishing," and "Draw Me Nearer." Despite the many misfortunes of her life, which included the death of her only child, she remained joyful.
