Today God says:
"I am your Creator".
He promises me:
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they are thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him". (Col. 1:16)
My response to the word:
I believe that God is the Creator of the entire universe, and that includes me. He created me for His pleasure. The Word proclaims, "You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for you created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created". I was created for the Father's pleasure, and throughout this day I want to please Him.
My prayer:
Thank you, Father, for creating me to have fellowship with you. I want my life to give you pleasure at all times. You are worthy of all my devotion, praise, and service. I give myself to you.
Today's scriptures:
"From the creation of the world, God's invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly observed in what He made". (Rom. 1:20 GW) "Everything came into existence through Him. Not one thing that exists was made without Him". (John 1:3 GW) "Our Lord and God, you deserve to receive glory, honour, and power because you created everything. Everything came into existence and was created because of your will". (Rev. 4:11 GW)
Quote for today:
Either God is in the whole of nature, with no gaps, or He isn't there at all. (L A Coulson)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
