Today God says:
"You are fearfully and wonderfully made".
He promises me:
"And I will praise you; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvellous are your works; and that my soul knows right well". (Ps. 139:14)
My response to the word:
God created me for His specific purposes. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. This fact alone gives me healthy self-esteem. I am one of God's works, and His works are marvellous. I have been hand-crafted by the Almighty Ruler of the universe. His works are perfect, and He continues to shape and mould me after His will. Praise God".
My prayer:
Almighty God, thank you for creating me for your special purposes, and for assuring me that I am one of your special creations. I will walk in the joy of this wonderful truth throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God - those whom He has called according to His plan. This is true because He already knew His people and had already appointed them to have the same form as the image of His Son". (Rom. 8:28,29 GW) "God has made us what we are. He has created us in Christ Jesus to live lives filled with good works that He has prepared for us to do". (Eph. 2:10 GW)
Quote for today:
I am greater than the stars for I know that they are up there and they do not know that I am down here. (William Temple)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
