<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Christ lives in you".

He promises me:
  "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me". (Gal. 2:20)

My response to the word:
  Christ, the Anointed One, lives in me. His name is called Wonderful Counsellor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is everything to me. He created all things, and by Him all things exist. Truly Christ in me is my hope of glory.

My prayer:
  Dear Lord, you have given so much to me. I thank you for life itself - for the abundant life you have imparted to me through Jesus Christ.

Today's scriptures:
 "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me". (John 14:6 GW) "He created all things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible. Whether they are kings or lords, rulers or powers - everything has been created through Him and for Him". (Col. 1:16 GW) "Christ is everything and in everything". (Col. 3:11 GW)

Quote for today:
I like to interpose in all of my appointments, if the Lord wills. (A B Simpson)

On this day:
On 7th March 1825, Alfred Edersheim was born in Vienna to Jewish parents. Converted to Christianity from Judaism before age 20, Edersheim studied at Edinburgh and Berlin. From 1846 to 1849 he served as a missioanry to Jews in Romania, and then as a minister in Aberdeen and the south of England. He died in Merton, France in 1889 at the age of 64 years. He published "The Life and Times of Jesus the Messiah", a Christian classic still in print!
