<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Do not be confused; I will help you".

He promises me:
  "For the Lord God will help me; therefore I shall not be confounded; therefore I set my face like a flint; and I know that I shall not be ashamed". (Isa. 50:7)

My response to the word:
  God promises to help me, even when I am confused. At such times I will remember that He is never the author of confusion. He will help me. He gives me wisdom and a sound mind. I have set my face like a flint in the direction of all God has for me. He will never let me be confounded or ashamed.

My prayer:
  Lord, I trust you for wisdom and clear thinking every step of the way. I know you will help me in times of confusion so that I will not be confounded.

Today's scriptures:
 "They cried to you and were saved. They trusted you and were never disappointed". (Ps.22:5 GW) "He is a shield for those who walk in integrity". (Prov. 2:7 GW) "God is not a God of disorder, but a God of peace". (1 Cor. 14:33 GW) "God didn't give us a cowardly spirit but a spirit of power, love, and good judgment". (2 Tim. 1:7 GW)

Quote for today:
The condition of an enlightened mind is a surrendered heart. (Alan Redpath)

On this day:
On 31st October 1517, Martin Luther posts his 95 Theses in Wittenberg, Germany. He taught that salvation and eternal life are not earned by good deeds but received only as the free gift of God's grace through the believer's faith in Jesus Christ as redeemer. He translated the Bible into the German language.

"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
