Today God says:
"To live is Christ; to die is gain"
He promises me:
"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". (Phil. 1:21)
My response to the word:
Christ is the centre of my life. I live for Him. He is my Lord and Saviour. When I die, I will continue to be with Him in a far better realm than this earth. Heaven is far better than this present world, praise God! Throughout this day I will let my mind be a mind through which Christ thinks His thoughts, my heart will be the heart through which He loves, my voice a voice through which He speaks, and my hand a hand through which He helps others.
My prayer:
Lord, I thank you for Christ who is the centre of my life. Throughout this day I will let my life, my words, my thoughts, and my actions be Christ-centred. Thank you for your help in my daily life.
Today's scriptures:
"You have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with Him in glory". (Col. 3:3,4 GW) "From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God's will - a will that contains Christ Jesus' promise of life". (2 Tim. 1:1 GW) "God has given us eternal life, and this life is found in His Son". (1 John 5:11 GW)
Quote for today:
Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God. (Corrie Ten Boom)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
