Today God says:
"There is power in agreeing prayer".
He promises me:
"Again I say to you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father in heaven". (Matt. 18:19)
My response to the word:
This powerful prayer promise is one that I shall remember all day long. Through a prayer partnership with another believer, I expect great things to happen. I believe in the power of prayer to effect changes in my life, the lives of others, and circumstances that surround me. When I pray, I will pray with faith in the promises of God's Word. My Father wants to bless me; I will trust and obey Him at all times.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for promising so many good things to me. I will agree with my prayer partner with absolute confidence in your Word. I know that praying according to your will (your Word) will bring great blessings to me and others.
Today's scriptures:
"I pray that all of these people continue to have unity in the way that you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they may be united with us so that the world will believe that you have sent Me". (John 17:21 GW) "However, we will devote ourselves to praying and to serving in ways that are related to the Word". (Acts 6:4 GW) "Be happy in your confidence. be patient in trouble, and pray continually". (Rom. 12:12 GW)
Quote for today:
Be careful for nothing, prayerful for everything, thankful for anything. (D L Moody)
On this day:
