<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "Acknowledge Me at all times, and I will direct you".

He promises me:
  "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths". (Prov. 3:5-6)

My response to the word:
  I will trust in the Lord with all my heart. I will stop leaning upon my own understanding. In all my ways I will acknowledge the Lord, and I know He will direct my paths. To trust the Lord I must know Him, and I must avail myself of every opportunity to get to know Him better through prayer, His Word, worship, and praise. He is always only a prayer away.

My prayer:
  Lord, I trust you with all my heart. I will acknowledge you in everything I do this day. Thank you for your promise to direct me. I purpose now to obey and follow your direction.

Today's scriptures:
 "He leads humble people to do what is right, and He teaches them His way". (Ps. 25:9 GW) "I will instruct you. I will teach you the way that you should go. I will advise you as my eyes watch over you". (Ps. 32:8 GW) "The Lord will continually guide you and satisfy you even in sun-baked places". (Isa. 58:11 GW)

Quote for today:
All that he left when living was through; was a mountain of things he intended to do - tomorrow. (Unknown)

On this day:
On 4th April 1968, Martin Luther King was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee. Leader of the black civil rights movement in the United States, he dreamed of the day when all would be equal and free.
