Today God says:
"Draw near to Me, and I will draw near to you".
He promises me:
"Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded". (James 4:8)
My response to the word:
This is an important spiritual principle for me to remember throughout this day: God will come to me if I will go to Him. The closer I get to Him, the closer He gets to me. By God's grace I will walk closer to the Lord today than I have ever walked before. I will live in His presence through prayer, worship, thanksgiving, and praise.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for your promise that you will draw near to me if I will draw near to you. It is so good to be close to you, and I will seek to get nearer to you throughout this day.

"People cannot come to Me unless the Father who sent me brings them to Me. I will bring these people back to life on the last day". On 15th May 2007, Jerry Falwell died in Lynchburg, Virginia at age 74. He was an American Southern Baptist pastor and televangelist.
