Today God says:
"Let My Spirit lead you".
He promises me:
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God". (Rom. 8:14)
My response to the word:
I want to be led by God's Holy Spirit every moment of every day because it is an exciting adventure to walk with Him. He will guide me each step of the way. He empowers me to live a life that is pleasing to God. "But if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He shall also quicken your bodies by the Spirit that dwells in you". I will let the Spirit of God lead me and fill me throughout this day.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me your Holy Spirit. Fill me continuously with your Spirit so that I will be able to follow His leading throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"The One who brought Christ back to life will also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who lives in you". (Rom. 8:11 GW) "Don't you know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you?". (1 Cor. 3:16 GW) "Live your life as your spiritual nature directs you. Then you will never follow through on what your corrupt nature wants". (Gal. 5:16 GW) "If we live by our spiritual nature, then our lives need to conform to our spiritual nature". (Gal. 5:25 GW) "Don't get drunk on wine, which leads to wild living. Instead, be filled with the Spirit". (Eph. 5:18 GW)
Quote for today:
When we want to know God's will, there are three things which always concur: the inward impulse, the Word of God, and the trend of circumstances - never act until these three things agree. (F B Meyer)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
