Today God says:
"Stand fast in the liberty with which Christ has made you free".
He promises me:
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage". (Gal. 5:1)
My response to the word:
Jesus Christ has set me free from sin and death. He said, "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free". This has already happened in my life, because Jesus Christ is the truth. He wants me to stand fast in the freedom He has imparted to me, and to make sure that I will not get entangled again in any yoke of bondage. I will walk in the Lord's freedom throughout this day.
My prayer:
Thank you, Father, for setting me free from all guilt, shame, and fear. I will not allow myself to become entangled by these bondages ever again because I know I'm truly free.
Today's scriptures:
"You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". (John 8:32 GW) "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to the Father except through me". (John 14:6 GW)
Quote for today:
A religion that is small enough for our understanding is not great enough for our need. (A J Balfour)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
