Today God says:
"The just shall live by faith".
He promises me:
"But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident; for the just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith". (Gal. 3:11,12)
My response to the word:
Throughout this day I will live by faith, not by sight. I know that it is impossible to please God without faith. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". This faith which God imparts to me by His Word justifies me - makes me live just as if I'd never sinned! I will walk in God's faith today.
My prayer:
Thank you, Lord, for justifying me through faith. I will live by faith, not by sight, throughout this day.
Today's scriptures:
"So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke". (Rom. 10:17 GW) "Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7 GW) "Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see". (Heb. 11:1 GW) "No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him". (Heb. 11:6 GW)
Quote for today:
Faith makes all things possible … love makes all things easy. (D L Moody)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
