Today God says:
"My Kingdom is not in word; it is in power".
He promises me:
"For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power". (1 Cor. 4:20)
My response to the word:
The Kingdom of God is the most powerful kingdom that has ever existed, and its power is available to me. I will walk in the power of the Kingdom of God throughout this day. God is not only an ever-present help in times of trouble, but He is also the power that keeps me out of trouble. As I submit to Him, His power keeps me from sin and evil, and it enables me to walk in victory as an effective witness for Jesus Christ.
My prayer:
Thank you for the power of your Kingdom, Father. Throughout this day I will remain aware of the fact that you are supplying me with the strength and power I need for every challenge that comes my way.
Today's scriptures:
"But to those who are called, He is Christ, God's power and God's wisdom". (1 Cor. 1:24 GW) "People can see our purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit's presence in our lives, our sincere love, truthfulness, and the presence of God's power". (2 Cor. 6:6,7 GW) "You will also know the unlimited greatness of His power as it works with might and strength for us, the believers". (Eph. 1:19 GW)
Quote for today:
No faith is required to do the possible; actually only a morsel of this atom-powered stuff is needed to do the impossible, for a piece as large as a mustard seed will do more than we have ever dreamed of. (Leonard Ravenhill)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
