Today God says:
"There is one Mediator between you and Me"
He promises me:
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time". (1 Tim. 2:5-6)
My response to the word:
God is my heavenly Father. My direct access to Him is through Jesus Christ my Lord. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me". Because I know this is true, and because Jesus gave His life as a ransom for me, I can have confidence that God hears me when I pray. Blessed be His name.
My prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for enabling me to have access to your throne-room through Jesus Christ, my Lord. I will remember that He is the sole mediator between you and me.

On 19th July 2003, William R "Bill" Bright died at the age of 81. He was the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, he wrote The Four Spiritual Laws in 1952 and produced the Jesus Film in 1979. Campus Crusade now has more than 27,000 full-time staff and over 225,000 trained volunteer staff in 190 countries.
