<Yesterday    Tomorrow>

Today God says:
 "I will not - indeed, cannot - lie to you"

He promises me:
  "In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began". (Titus 1:2)

My response to the word:
  I trust God and His Word. His Word is truth. He cannot lie. I will walk in His truth throughout this day. Though truth may not always be popular, I know it is always right. I want to be like God. I never want to lie. I will seek to know truth with my mind and spirit, to accept truth with my heart, and to let God's truth be enacted in my life.

My prayer:
  Lord, thank you for your Word which is truth. Your truth has made me free. With your help I will walk in truth throughout this day.

Today's scriptures:
 "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free". (John 8:32 GW) "Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth". (John 17:17 GW) "Instead, as we lovingly speak the truth, we will grow up completely in our relationship to Christ, who is the head". (Eph. 4:15 GW)

Quote for today:
All that is not eternal is out of date. (C S Lewis)
