Today God says:
"Do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus"
He promises me:
"And whatsoever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him". (Col. 3:17)
My response to the word:
As I go about my daily activities this day I will remember to do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus. I will cultivate this approach to life by being thankful at all times, remembering the admonition of Paul, "In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you".
My prayer:
Dear Lord, I love you with all my heart. Help me to do everything today in the name of the Lord Jesus with a thankful heart.
Today's scriptures:
"Whatever happens, give thanks, because it is God's will in Christ Jesus that you do this". (1 Thess. 5:18 GW) "Lord, who won't fear and praise your name? You are the only holy One, and all nations will come to worship you". (Rev. 15:4 GW)
Quote for today:
God does not ask about our ability, but our availability. (Unknown)
On this day:
"Scriptures are taken from the King James Bible or those marked (GW) are from the God's Word Translation, used with permission".
