Today God says:
"When you please Me I will make your enemies to be at peace with you".
He promises me:
"When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him". (Prov. 16:7)
My response to the word:
Above all else, I want to please the Lord today. I will seek to please Him with every thought, word and deed. I know that without faith it is impossible to please God. Therefore, I will obey God's Word which teaches me to walk in love and live by faith. I will seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. I will build my life upon the rock of God's Word.
My prayer:
Father God, I love you. Help me to be pleasing to you and make my enemies be at peace with me.
Today's scriptures:
"But first, be concerned about His kingdom and what has His approval. Then all these things will be provided for you". (Matt. 6:33 GW) "Therefore, everyone who hears what I say and obeys it will be like a wise man who built his house on rock". (Matt. 7:24 GW) "Live in love as Christ also loved us. He gave His life for us as an offering and sacrifice". (Eph. 5:2 GW) "No one can please God without faith". (Hebr. 11:6 GW)
Quote for today:
Adversities do not make a man frail. They show what sort of man he is. (Thomas a Kempis)
